From Malmö to Miami: Our Swedish Candy Story

Hej! I'm the founder of Candylicious Miami, and I'm on a mission to bring the best Swedish candy to South Florida.

🇸🇪 A Swede in Miami

I grew up in Malmö, Sweden – a city where candy isn't just a treat, it's a way of life. Every Friday, like millions of Swedes, my family would gather for fredagsmys (cozy Friday) with bowls of our favorite candies. Every Saturday, we'd visit the local candy store to pick our weekly lördagsgodis (Saturday candy).

When I moved to Miami, I quickly realized something was missing: real Swedish candy. Sure, you could find the occasional Scandinavian import at specialty stores, but the selection was limited, the prices were high, and the candy was often stale.

So in January 2024, I decided to do something about it.

Every week, we receive fresh shipments directly from Sweden. No middlemen, no warehouses, no stale candy. What you get is the same candy Swedes are buying in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and yes, Malmö.

We hand-pick every product based on what I grew up loving and what my Swedish friends and family still eat today. If it's not good enough for a Swede, it's not good enough for Candylicious Miami.
